Ann Shumate, President--Ann is president of the library board and treasurer of Cooperative Christian Ministries, where she has also long been a member of the board.  Her fiscal duties don’t end there, however.  Ann has served as  treasurer of the Middlesboro Garden Club, and holds the office of Clerk of Accession at First Presbyterian Church of  Middlesboro.   An avowed pet lover, her poodle Lizzie is a fond member of her household


Ron Gilley, Vice President--
Ron Gilley is associated with American National Insurance Co. in Pineville.  Ron's wife Elizabeth is a teacher at Pineville City School, and they have two children.   He also has served as a  member of the Red Bird Mission Board and serves as coach for Pineville's boys' and girls' tennis team.

 

Dinah Presnell, Secretary--Dinah Presnell is secretary of the library board.   She is a retired Social Worker / Health Educator for the Bell Co. Health Department, and active in many other organizations, including the Wilderness Trail Chapter of the Ky. Society of Natural History, and she serves as Secretary of the Bell Co. Senior Citizens board.  Dinah is president of  the Bell Co. Friends of the Shelter and coordinates their adoption program,  and  is an active member of the Pineville Lions Club.
Sally Smith, Treasurer-- Sally is a retired teacher, having taught at Frakes Elementary for 27 years. She is active in the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association and now serves on the state executive council. She is an officer of the Bell County League of Women Voters and of the Middlesborough Garden Club. She serves on the Housing Appeals Board for the city of Middlesboro and is a frequent observer at the Middlesboro City Council meetings. Sally and Mark are active in the First Presbyterian Church and enjoy being grandparents.
Joy Saylor, Member--Joy Saylor is Human Resource Secretary at Pineville Community Hospital. Her husband Robert is the owner of a construction company. She has been an avid reader since childhood and has been involved, for several years, with the Read Across America program at the schools. She was an actress in the Middlesboro Little Theatre productions of Arsenic and Old Lace and On Golden Pond. She is looking forward to retirement in order to pursue her various hobbies on a full-time basis.
